B cell grows and lives in the bone marrow.

As the B cell develops, it takes on a specific look.

The B cell mainly spends its days hanging around with T cells in the blood and lymph.

Then one day, Mr Specific Antigen arrives… I pity the fool!

The B cells starts proliferating by mitosis.

…Some B cells differentiate into long-lived memory cells.

…Some B cells differentiate into long-lived plasma cells.

These plasma cells secrete antibodies to attack Mr Antigen. Quit your jibber jabber!
