What is point of view? Point of View: the perspective a story is told from In other words, who is telling the story A text's point of view is determined based on the pronouns the author uses.

Third Person: told by a narrator -he, she, they, them Third Person Objective: the narrator only knows what is seen or heard - think of this as seeing a story through the camera's eyes Third Person Limited: the narrator knows what one character is thinking or feeling -the narrator is limited in their knowledge of feelings and thoughts Third Person Omniscient: the narrator knows all -the narrator knows everyone's thoughts and feelings
