PRESENTATION ON DISTRICTWISE EDI ANALYSIS FROM DISE & CTS 2008-09

FOR GOVT MANAGED SCHOOLS COMPUTATION OF EDI FOR GOVT MANAGED SCHOOLS UNDER DISE & CTS –(2008-09)

Focus area needs to be developed 1. Reduction of Primary to Upper Primary School ratio. 2. No of Habitation not served 3. Improvement in availability of Drinking water,Common & Girls Toilet facility. 4. Improvement in SCR. 5. More deployment of Female teacher. 6. More no of Untrained teacher needs to be trained. 7. Single teacher schools need to be filled with minimum of two no of teachers 8. Improvement in no of children of passing with more than 60% in Primary Classes. 9. Improvement in Completion rate. 10.Improvement in GER of SC and ST children.

Suggestion for Inclusion of few specific Indicators for EDI Computation
