The Circulatory System By Emma and Ashley

Come on lets do the circulation! The circulatory system is the way that your blood travels throughout your body. The blood goes to the heart, then goes out of the heart, then repeats over and over!

The Heart Your heart is in middle of your chest. The heart helps pump blood to your body. Your heart pumps 60 to 100 per. Minute.

The Blood The blood is made up of red cells, white cells, and platelets and plasma. The blood is something that goes through the heart and body delivering nutrients and oxygen to the body.

What is your Blood used for? Your blood is used to help the heart and body. It brings nutrition to the body and it also carries unwanted waste such as carbon dioxide out of the body. It helps the body because the blood keeps moving and makes the body move.

Blood Facts Blood is made out of lots of cells, platelets, and plasmas. Blood doesn’t flow at the same speed in all parts of the body. It spurts from the heart very quickly, but by the time it reaches the capillaries, it has slowed down to a gentle stream.

So , what's next ? Once the blood goes to all the body its done right? Wrong! The blood goes back to the heart to be produced again to go all over the body.
