Mrs. Applegate and Mrs. Gerdes’ Class A Peek at Next Week in… Mrs. Applegate and Mrs. Gerdes’ Class September 24, 2018 Reminders Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests. Objectives:  Reading; This week we will continue to focus on the elements of fiction. Language: Students will review nouns, adjectives, verbs and the writing process. Writing: The students will continue personal narratives-revising drafts (correct capitalization, punctuation, makes sense) and publishing. Spelling Words: No Spelling this week!  Math: Students will continue to compare and order numbers 0-120. Science: The focus this week will be changing matter. Social Studies: Students will identify historical figures.
