Referrals from prepubertal youth (consultation only) are accepted at Montreal, Ottawa and Winnipeg. Referrals increased 10-fold in the past 5 years, to 1049 in 2016. Clinics include Montreal Children’s Hospital Gender Variance Program (Montreal), BC Children’s Hospital Gender Clinic (Vancouver), Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario Diversity Clinic (Ottawa), Quest Community Health Centre (St. Catharines), Alberta Children’s Hospital METTA Program (Calgary), GDAAY Clinic (Winnipeg), Sick Kids Hospital Transgender Health Clinic (Toronto), IWK Transgender Clinic (Halifax), and Stollery Children’s Transgender Clinic (Edmonton).
