This Manitoba family has an offer for you: Will you help them grow hope? Three years ago, a family from the Niverville area with a large farm approached MCC and Canadian Foodgrains Bank with an idea for how people in Manitoba can make an even bigger difference in ending hunger around the world. Today, that idea has provided hundreds of thousands of dollars of food assistance, and the invitation is open to you to become part of it. It’s called Grow Hope, and it’s starting to spread to farms around the country as people take notice of what a powerful idea it is.
When you sponsor an acre of Manitoba farmland, proceeds will help end hunger! The Dycks are inviting you to sponsor land on their farm. At the end of the year, they’ll donate the money they make from every acre that is sponsored. That money will go to helping end hunger through MCC and CFGB.
Help provide food for people around the world. Your gift will grow—and be matched! Each acre costs $300 to sponsor, but becomes over $500, after harvest. That means your gift will grow and have an even bigger impact. After that, the money will be matched by the federal government, growing even more.
Each $300 acre sponsored becomes up to $2500 for MCC and CFGB! The math is incredible—between the profits from harvest and the Government matching, each $300 acre becomes as much as $2500. That’s money that will be used to provide emergency food assistance, as well as supporting nutrition and access to food over the long term.
Become a farmer and help Grow Hope! By signing up for Grow Hope, you become a farmer! Join the Dyck family from Niverville, and a movement of others around Manitoba and make your gifts go even further to help end hunger.
