What is MPLS? Multiprotocol Label Switching A standard for switching packets over an IP Network using labels or tags that contain forwarding information attached to IP packets LSR = Label Switch Router PE = Provider Edge Device CE = Customer Edge Device VRF = Virtual Route Forwarding MPLS Core Network LSR PE CE VRF LSR VRF How Does It Work?
