JESUS, THE ONLY ANSWER!

Jesus still comes into the world today.

1. Only Jesus is able to save us for all eternity!

-Only Jesus is able to save us.

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in no one else Acts 4:12 “There is salvation in no one else! Under all heaven there is no other name for men to call upon to save them.”

-His salvation is FOREVER!

John 14:1-3 “Don’t be worried. Have faith in God and have faith in Me John 14:1-3 “Don’t be worried! Have faith in God and have faith in Me. There are many rooms in my Father’s house. I wouldn’t tell you this, unless it was true. I am going there

to prepare a place for each of you to prepare a place for each of you. After I have done this, I will come and take you with me. Then we will be together.”

Hebrews 7:25 “Therefore, He is able also to save for all eternity those who come to God through Him, since He is

always living to make petition to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.”

-His salvation is ONLY by grace!

Ephesians 2:8-9 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”

Make sure you are counting on a salvation that comes from the grace of God, because it is the ONLY one that will save you!

2. Only Jesus can sustain us while we live on earth.

Since the fall of Adam and Eve this world has been ruined by sin.

As long as man lives on earth we will have to battle emptiness, disillusionment, frustration,

disappointment, broken dreams, unanswered longings, wounding of our souls, and tears.

I’m afraid many followers of Jesus turn first to the things of this earth to help them overcome their problems.

Since Jesus is the God’s answer to our situation on earth, shouldn’t we turn to Him FIRST to help us?

I want you to shut out any other voice right now and listen to the voice of God as He speaks to you about how you can overcome this world if you call on Him first:

Psalm 55:22 “Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be shaken.”

Matthew 28:18 “And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.”

2 Corinthians 9:8 “And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work.”

Who are you going to believe?

Today we as followers of Jesus have to remember that this is NOT our home.

Don’t be bound by the things of this world in the same way as those who don’t have Jesus.

Do you need to come to Jesus today so that you can overcome the circumstances you are facing?

Then come.
