Phase I CAP Services When are commercialization services provided? If participating in the DOE CAP, you will be notified of your eligibility about one month following Phase I award Registration begins about three months following Phase I award And actual CAP services begin about five months prior to the Phase II application deadline to ensure youre able to fully focus on your R&D in the initial months of your Phase I award. 4
