Parent Portal Parent Portal is the online program used by Moody ISD to connect parents to their student’s academic information and as a convenient way to keep student information updated. The program is also used for a portion of our registration process at the beginning of the new school year. Parents may access Parent Portal through the links provided on our website. www.moodyisd.org Links are displayed on the main page of the website and also by clicking on Resources, Parents.

Creating a new account Click on the New txConnect User link

Create user name and password

Select and answer hint question for account recovery

Enter and verify code sent to email address You should receive an email message that contains a verification code consisting of upper and lower case letters and numbers. Be sure to check your Spam folder if you do not see the email in your inbox.

Receive verification successful message and complete account setup. Once you receive the “Verification successful” message click Complete. In order to add your student to the account, contact the your student’s campus and obtain your student’s Portal ID. You can also add your student on the “My Account” tab. (See next slide)

Your student must be added to your account in order for you to view their information, and your email must be verified in order for you to be able to set up alerts and access Registration forms at the beginning of the school year.

Click on the Summary tab. You should see your student’s name Click on the Summary tab. You should see your student’s name. You can click on the View/Edit Data button to update your student’s information.
