Help Shape the Future of Downtown Sumner DESIGN DOWNTOWN

A well rounded committee Business Owners Property owners Graphic designers and artists Real estate agents History buffs Contractors City planners Architects

A committee with mutual expectations Committees of a downtown Main Street program are typically made up of five to seven people. They meet at least once a month to plan and prepare activities. These activities usually create additional demands for time and volunteers. Each member expects the full participation of every member. As a group they expect to make Downtown Sumner even better than it is now.

A committee with mutual responsibilities Each committee member Always presents the organization positively to the public. Commits to at least one year of service and monthly committee meetings. Works 3 to 5 hours per month outside of committee meetings. Attends all training sessions to learn about the Main Street Approach® Prepares in advance for meetings. Cooperatively helps to draft an Action Plan & Timeline
