Two Phases Phase 1 – Restorative Models of Respite Care Agree on principles of respite care capacity management. Advise on design of restorative model of residential respite care. Develop quality improvement ideas for respite. Oversee design and testing of EBS Foster priority workforce development initiatives. Phase 2 – Wider vision of RCRI report and new models of residential care will be developed.

Membership : ARC Providers (4), ALT (1), Allied Health (2), General Practice/Practice Nurse (3), Social & Community Service Providers (1), Quality/Academic (4), Maori (1), Consumers (2), Planning and Funding (2), and our Chair – 20 members

Service Specification designed. Client pathway designed. Evaluation framework designed. Electronic Booking System developed.

Carer and Service User Focus groups [first being held 20/9/2012). [To fine tune service specification and as part of the evaluation framework] Draft Proposal to Planning and Funding to be developed. Determine Terms of Reference for Phase 2. Approvals sought from ALT and Planning and Funding to proceed with pilot implementation.
