TO AVOID BEING EATEN SOME ANIMALS ….

Have eyes at the side of it’s head

Run, swim or fly very fast

Stay in large groups

Have patterns to confuse predators

Have excellent senses, e.g. good eye sight

Are camouflaged to blend in with their surroundings

look like a dangerous animal

Have warning / danger colours

Don’t taste very nice, or are poisonous

Have build in protection

TO HELP CATCH PREY SOME ANIMALS….

Have eyes at the front of their head

Have good senses, e.g. smell

Have sharp claws and teeth

Have patterns to camouflage them
