Online software and backups Jack Hughes

Online software Online software is accessed though a web browser and is available anywhere that has an internet connection. Advantages are. Updated automatically Backed up automatically Can be used on different devises Can be used on different operating systems

Online Backups Backing up files online means saving them to external servers. Advantages of this are. If the users computer fails the files are saved on severs elsewhere and would be safe Cloud storage is also used to backup files so there is a double layer of security.

Advantages of standalone software As it is installed onto the hard drive it can be used when there is no internet access. It runs faster than online software if you have a poor internet connection.
