Fall Informational Meeting Sea World Field Trip Fall Informational Meeting

Tentative Itinerary Tuesday May 9 Wednesday May 10 9am: Drop of Luggage – Location TBA 10:30am: Lunch in Auxillary Dining Hall 11:30 am: Depart from Tapp with early dinner at Golden Corral in Tifton, GA 9pm: Arrive & Check In at Marriott Fairfield Inn & Suites @ SeaWorld 11pm: Lights Out – Private Security Wednesday May 10 7:45 am: Breakfast at Hotel 9am: Full day at Sea World; lunch included Educational Program: Rescue & Rehabilitation 8pm: Dinner at CiCi’s Pizza 9pm: Game Night in Lobby or Hang Out In Room

Cost & Payment Schedule: $485; includes transportation, 3 nights hotel with breakfast, 2 days admission to SeaWorld, educational programs, meals, drawstring book bag, private security, parking, tolls, and gratuities. Payment Schedule $150 non-refundable booking fee due Oct 5, 2016 Final Payment due February 15, 2017 Suggested Payment Schedule in Packet No Personal Checks will be accepted. Payments may be made in cash, cashier’s check, or money order. Any monies paid over the initial booking fee will become non-refundable after December 16,2016.

Eligibility Requirements Behavior Expectations Assignment of OSS from school during the months of August 2016 - April 2017 will be considered by the academic and administrative team on an individual basis. 3 or more assignments of ISS between August 2016 – April 2017 will be considered by the academic and administrative team on an individual basis. Students whose behavioral history suggests the possibility that they may be a danger to themselves or others may be excluded from the trip. (IFCB-R)

Behavior Expectations & Dress Code Details inside trip packet are to be initialed, signed, & returned. Summary: Be Polite & Respectful. Keep volume at courteous levels. Stay in your room after lights out. No horseplaying. Wear appropriate summer clothing. Flip Flops are not recommended.

Chaperones We are allotted a ratio of 1 adult per 10 students: the number of chaperones attending the trip will be dictated by the total number of students traveling. Please note that teachers and administration serve as chaperones and are included in that count. Persons interested in chaperoning should express their interest to Mrs. Teren via email in January or February. You will then receive a questionnaire to complete online.
