Mrs. Ernest’s and Mrs. McGonigle’s Class A Peek at Next Week in… Mrs. Ernest’s and Mrs. McGonigle’s Class September 18, 2017 Reminders Homework this year is to practice math facts and read daily AND spend time with your family! Additional homework will be given from time to time to study for tests. Objectives: Reading: Students will focus on the elements in fiction reading the story Henry and Mudge: Their First Book. Students will also continue to set up reading workshop. Language: Students will focus on subjects and predicates this week. Writing: The students will continue to set up writing workshop. Spelling Words: sad, dig, jam, glad, list, win, flat, if, fix, rip, kit, mask, as, his, draw, kick, also, catch, city, slim Math: Students will use graphs for comparing and problem solving. Graph assessment – Friday Students will also compose and decompose numbers 0-120. Science: Students will learn all about matter over the next few weeks. Social Studies: Students will continue to study citizenship this week.
