Economic Protest Parties Angry about the direction of the US economy. Want significant changes to the US economy. Most voters believe their changes are too extreme.

Single-Issue Parties Believe in one issue. Every speech, every ad, every everything revolves around one issue. Most American voters care about 3-5 issues.

Splinter Parties Form when members of a major party leave due to conflicting beliefs. Rarely win, usually cause their former party to lose elections.
