1-THE VERBS INTERESAR AND ABURRIR FUNCTION THE SAME IN SPANISH AND IN ENGLISH. ¿TE ABURRE EL ARTE? DOES ART BORE YOU? NO, EL ARTE NO ME ABURRE. NO, ART DOES NOT BORE ME. ¿TE ABURREN LOS DEPORTES? DO SPORTS BORE YOU? NO, LOS DEPORTES ME INTERESAN NO, SPORTS INTEREST ME.

2-THE VERB GUSTAR FUNCTION THE SAME AS INTERESAR AND ABURRIR. 3-GUSTAR CONVEYS THE MEANING “TO LIKE,” BUT IT ACTUALLY MEANS “TO BE PLEASING TO.” ¿TE GUSTA EL BEISBOL? Sí, ME GUSTA MUCHO ¿TE GUSTAN LOS DEPORTES ¿ SI, ME GUSTAN.
