Projects to Closeout

Project Overview Objective: Develop and Implement a system to improve the efficiency and timeliness of the closing out process at our institution. This project will incorporate the five practices of successful leadership.

Volunteer to take the lead Data Collection from Department Manager Model The Way Take the Initiative: Volunteer to take the lead Data Collection from Department Manager

Inspire a Shared Vision Enlist others in the common vision of a more efficient closeout system. Generate enthusiasm

Looking for innovative ways to improve: Challenge The Process Looking for innovative ways to improve: Identify roles and responsibilities for each party during the closeout process

Enable Others To Act Develop Competence: Form a committee Develop a plan Seek Feedback Present final assessment findings and recommendations at the Team Meeting

Encourage The Heart Recognize Contributions: Generate a sense of ownership Allow others to be invested Comparison of previous assessment and current findings

Resolution This system will make the closeout process more timely and more efficient. This system will decrease the closeout process from 45 days to 30 days Interactive Workflow Forms are introduced to the team Implement an Interactive Closeout Process Workflow
