AOPA Weather Infrastructure Priorities AWOS – Need additional surface observations, particularly at those airports with approaches (21 airports in Alaska), feed more TAFs MAWS – Funding for additional stations in remote areas that would benefit aviation FIS-B – Additional Ground Based Transmitters to disseminate ADS-B enabled weather WX Cameras – Greater investment needed for Alaska and CONUS
