About Us Who we are A sub-chapter of the California Chapter IAWP, a nonprofit 501 (C) 6 educational association representing professionals worldwide who work in public and private workforce development programs. California has over 2000 members. What we do Provide a variety of useful member services through education, communication, and research. Objectives include enhancing job competence, supporting administrators in program improvement, and fostering a close working relationship with partner organizations. Our mission The mission of IAWP is to enhance, serve, and support those interested in workforce development programs.

What does it cost? Dues are $98.00 per year for all active members; $36.00 per year for retired members EDD pays $50.00 of the membership dues for all Bargaining Unit 1, 2, and 4 employees, and 100% of the dues for employees in supervisory/managerial classifications. EDD employees (BU 1,2, & 4) may elect to pay their share ($48) by payroll deduct ($4 per month) or by personal check or money order. Non-state members must pay the $98 in full.
