WG 1.5 b Summary Statement: Qualitative e-Government-services and effective front-office are conditioned by a good back-office Presentation of Emmanuel Quintin of the Crossroads bank for social security as a reference model.

WG 1.5 b Summary This model is based on: distributed data management; individual identification of citizens and companies; a star-shaped network; a directory of references and the protection of privacy functional distribution of databases and authentic sources.

WG 1.5 b What needs to be done ? Minimum standard set of identification data for individuals and organisations with legal recommandations; developing reference-model(s); minimum privacy-protection standards; interoperability PKI and certification: the use of the same digital signature attributed by one country must be possible in all member-states.
