Believing is Seeing (Ex. 8-12)

Believing is Seeing Exodus 7:22-23 Then the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments; and Pharaoh's heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the LORD had said. 23 And Pharaoh turned and went into his house. Neither was his heart moved by this.

Believing is Seeing Exodus 7:19 Then the LORD spoke to Moses, "Say to Aaron, 'Take your rod and stretch out your hand over the waters of Egypt, over their streams, over their rivers, over their ponds, and over all their pools of water, that they may become blood. And there shall be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in buckets of wood and pitchers of stone.'"

Believing is Seeing Exodus 8:6-8 So Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt, and the frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt. 7 And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs on the land of Egypt. 8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, "Entreat the LORD that He may take away the frogs from me and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may sacrifice to the LORD." (Ex. 8:15) “…when Pharaoh saw that there was relief, he hardened his heart and did not heed them…”

Believing is Seeing (Ex. 8:17) “…Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and struck the dust of the earth, and it became lice on man and beast. All the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.” (Ex. 8:18) A change: “the magicians so worked with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not.”

Pharaoh Believed But Wouldn’t Submit (Ex. 8:8) “Entreat the LORD that He may take away the frogs from me and from my people” (Ex. 8:28) “…Intercede for me." (Take away the flies!) (Ex. 9:27) “…I have sinned this time. The LORD is righteous, and my people and I are wicked.” (Ex. 9:28) “Entreat the LORD, that there may be no more mighty thundering and hail…” (Ex. 10:17) “…entreat the LORD your God, that He may take away from me this death only."

We Believe, But Do We Submit? Romans 1:19-20 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. 20 For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,

We Believe, But Do We Submit? Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

We Believe, But Do We Submit? Galatians 2:16 "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.

We Believe, But Do We Submit? Colossians 2:14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.

We Believe, But Do We Submit? (1 Cor. 6:9-10) “Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites… will inherit the kingdom of God.”

We Believe, But Do We Submit? (Jn. 14:15) “If you love Me, keep My commandments.” (1 Cor. 16:22) “If anyone does not love the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be accursed.”

We Believe, But Do We Submit? (Matthew 28:19-20) "Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.
