Annual Assessment of Decision-making Processes Every spring, each member of a governance group completes a survey about their respective group’s work for the year. Planning and Research consolidates the results into individual committee reports and each committee chair reviews the results with their committee. The results are shared with the Co-Chairs of the District Governance Senate who incorporate the results into the year-end evaluation report.

Consolidated Survey Results The senate/committee met its role and responsibility. 48 responses, 67% Strongly Agree, 33% Agree Adequate resources were available to support this group. 49 responses, 51% Strongly Agree, 47% Agree, 2% Disagree The workload of this senate/committee was appropriate. 49 responses, 41% Strongly Agree, 57% Agree, 2% Disagree The senate/committee was effective in meeting its initiatives. 49 responses, 59% Strongly Agree, 41% Agree

Annual Assessment of Decision-making Processes This info is reviewed by each senate/committee at the end of the year and again at the beginning of the new year as initiatives are being set. In addition, respondents were given opportunity to provide comments and/or make recommendations for improvement. Based on information obtained through this process, the COS 2.0 Manuals were revised this summer and will go through the governance process early this fall.
