Steps are the same as other hypothesis tests. State null and alternative hypotheses Ho: p=p0 Ha: p>p0, or p<p0 or p≠p0 where p0= accepted value Calculate your z test statistic Find your P-value on table A, it is interpreted the same way. State whether you reject or fail to reject H0. Relate it back to your problem State probability of getting a as extreme as you did if Ho is true.
