State Presentation Example Name of presenter Title State name Regional and National Air Navigation Performance Framework / Aviation System Block Upgrade (ASBU) Implementation Workshop Mexico City, Mexico, 22 – 26 August 2016

Notes for participants Since you have only 30 minutes including Q&A, we recommend you to have 20 slides in your presentation. Required information for this presentation is indicated in the next slide. Main topic should be ASBUs modules selected and Air Navigation Report Form (ANRF). Refer to slides 3, 4, 5 and attachment A for more details of ANRF

List of required Information for your presentation Expectations from the Workshop Conditions used to define National Plan such as 3 years term or more Traffic Growth Current ANS Infrastructure Stakeholder Needs Performance Gaps National Air Navigation Priorities ASBUs modules selected (Main topic) Air Navigation Report Form (ANRF) (Main topic) Challenges to proceed National Plan focusing on ASBUs and ANRF Summary

Notes to participants related to ANRF During this workshop, based on the inputs from instructors, you will be requested to review your National Plan. In CAR region, NACC Regional Office recognized that some of the National Plans include “Air Navigation Report Form’’ as an attachment to connect ASBU methodology and their national plan. Therefore, in this workshop, you will be also requested to review current Air Navigation Report Form (ANRF) developed by your State, or any reporting form being used. To familiarize ANRF, please refer to NAM/CAR Regional Performance-Based Air Navigation Implementation Plan http://www.icao.int/NACC/Documents/RPBANIP/NAMCARRPBANIPFINAL2014%20ENG%20ver%203%201.pdf ANRF is a customized tool for ASBU modules, which is recommended for setting planning targets, monitoring implementation, identifying challenges, measuring implementation/performance, and reporting. The results will be analyzed by ICAO and aviation partners and utilized in developing the Regional Performance Dashboard and the annual Global Air Navigation Report. The conclusions from the Global Air Navigation Report will serve as the basis for future policy adjustments, aiding safety practicality, affordability, and global harmonization, among other concerns. (Excerpt from NAM/CAR Regional Performance-Based Air Navigation Implementation Plan )
