Francisco Vasquez de Coronado by: Faith Moomey

Francisco Coronado’s sponsoring nation was Spain and his date of exploration was in 1540.

Francisco went exploring to find riches, but he had no luck.

He is famous today for finding Rio Grande, The Grand Canyon, and Kansas.

Did you know: he was thrown in jail and charged for bad leadership.

They believed there were seven cities of gold in were now is Mexico and it was told there was as much gold as the asteac empire.

Francisco Vasques de Coronado traveled to were people said was the Seven Cities of Gold and it was a lie there was no such thing as Seven Cities of gold.
