An Enemy of the People: Debate Which is most responsible for what goes wrong in the town? Capitalism Democracy Propaganda Environmental issues Spineless Citizenry Tom’s Ineffective Communication

Directions As a group come up with one main argument and at least three textual supports for that argument. Each group will have 2-3 minutes to make their first argument. Each group will then have 2 minutes to come up with a rebuttal. Groups will then have the chance to share their rebuttals.

Rules: We don’t want this debate to end up like the town meeting in the play! DO NOT completely shut-down each other’s ideas. You’re wrong! That’s stupid! Did you even read the play! Correct: I can see you’re point, but this is what I think.
