Today’s Goal: Learn more on how to use text features strategically in informational reading. Outcomes: Describe what is meant by “text features.” Name and identify 14 different text features. Apply your knowledge by identifying where to find specific types of info.

Starter #1: What are text features? Yesterday we began a PP presentation on “text features.” What are text features? Text features are any elements in printed work (including websites) that help the reader gain a better understanding of information.   Can you name some text features?
