Political Organization Senators and Deputees

What does a Senator do? Senators represent the citizens who chose them. Senators are chosen in each electoral district or electoral area (constituency). They work in the congress representing the people when making laws.

There are 2 constituencies in our region: North and South. There are 2 senators elected by each constituency. Total Senators representing the region 4

What does a Deputy do? To discuss and aprove the laws that rule the behavior of a society. It’s a member of the Deputy Chamber in the Congress.

Deputies represent districts. There are 7 districts in our region. District is a group of towns that choose two deputies. There are 17 deputies in our region.

What does a Mayor do? The mayor leads the political administration of a city or a town. The mayor defends and promotes the citizens’ development in society.

DEPUTIES: they discuss and aprove the laws that rule the behavior of a society. VIII region is divided into seven districts. There are two deputies in each district. Total deputies in our region 14
