Meeting 7: Program Activities REDESIGNING SCHOOL COUNSELING Advisory Council Meeting 7: Program Activities Redesigning School Counseling (RSC) is an initiative of the American Student Achievement Institute. RSC involves educators, students, parents, and community members in a vision-based and data-driven process through which they design a locally appropriate school counseling program that addresses students’ academic, career, and citizenship development. In Indiana, schools may use the School Counseling Portfolio designed through the RSC process to meet the Indiana Department of Education’s requirements for the Indiana Gold Star School Counseling Award.
