Learning Objectives You will: Learn to follow your design work to create your 3D letter sculpture Develop your 3D making skills Learn to work collaboratively and share materials and equipment. What I’m looking for… A 3D letter that resembles your design Your ability to work as part of a team and to share equipment and materials.

Collect some cardboard strips 50 minutes Collect some cardboard strips Using masking tape secure these to the side of your letter. Make sure you go all the way around all of your letter. Then secure your second letter on top so you have a solid enclosed shape 4) Go over all of the edges of your shape with the gum tape. Make sure you stick it down smoothly

PREP.WORK Collect images of comic book pages to decorate your letter with. You could find some online and print in colour or find some old comic books and bring them in.

3 minutes Turn to the back of your sketchbook and thinking about the learning objectives from the start of the lesson, tick each statement that you feel confident you have learnt. Now at the right-hand side, write down one specific thing that you have learnt today that you didn’t know before.
