LAS : Destiny and Web Path Express

How Do I Login? All students at LAS are able to use the Destiny Library System to search for books and publications within the library and to research safely on the internet via Web Path Express. Ask your teacher for your password and username For example Usernamekhans PasswordP 332 You username will be a combination of your first and last name or initials and your password will be same as on your library card.

How Do I Login? Go to the website : Click on Login in the right hand top corner and then click on Lahore American School.

How Do I Login? Enter your username and password in the text boxes provided and click on the Login button.

My Information To view information relating to your library account, click on the My Info link at the top of the page. This includes books you have borrowed, fines and books on hold.

Library Search You will now be able to search the library database for books, magazines and other library resources by clicking on the Library Search link on the left.

Library Search To search by keyword, type the word in the text box provided and click on the keyword button link.

Library Search If your keyword was trees, once you click on the keyword link you will see a list of all resources in the library that include trees for example, the second listing is a book.

Library Search Each listing will include the items call number, published date and author. The link named details will list additional resources. On the right is the number of this item that is available.

Library Search Below are the extra details about trees, including a book description and a link to allow you to place a hold on this book. You can also recommend this book by clicking on the Recommend button link.

Library Search You can also see a list of recommended websites if you click on the Web sites link next to title.

Library Search To search for a book title, author, subject or series, click on the links provided.

Library Search You can also narrow your search by choosing one of the options in the search box provided. This includes reading level and interest level.

Library Search Once you have completed a search, you can review your searches by clicking on the My Searches link in the right hand top corner of the page.

Web Path Express To search for safe websites, click on the Web Path Express link in the left hand column and type a keyword in the text box provided.

Web Path Express If your keyword was birds, you will see a list of websites by name and also grade level. Click on the title or url to go to that website.

Web Path Express You can also search by category by clicking on one of the images links provided.

Destiny Quest Another option for reviewing library information is via Destiny Quest by clicking on the link on the left hand side of the page.

Destiny Quest When you click on this link you will see the Destiny Quest Home page. To return to the default page, click on the Exit Destiny Quest link at the top of the page.

Destiny Quest In the left hand column you will be able to see a list of books you have read or are reading, view and add friends.

Destiny Quest To view and reply to s, click on the Inbox link in the left hand column and your s will be listed in the central column.

Destiny Quest To add friends, type a name in the text box provided. You will also be able to view incoming friend requests and a list of your friends.
