Energy, Work & Power Energy Problems Day #1

Example #1 A vertically launched projectile reaches a height of 20m. What was its initial velocity? If the projectile required 3920 J of energy to reach that height, find the mass of the object. Find the power required to launch the projectile to that height.

Example #2 If the same projectile is launched with the same initial velocity but at some angle to the horizontal find The GPE at its maximum height of 15m. Neglecting friction, where does the rest of the energy go? The velocity at the maximum height. The initial launch angle.
