Contents Test purpose 1 Test method 2 Test result 3 Conclusion 4

Tested-Device Setting height Test purpose To determine a height of 50mm below the Tested-Device for an uneven bottom (e.g. a tunnel shape) Test method Tested-Device Test No. Tested -Device Dimension(mm) Remark # 1 Mock-up 600 × 800 × 300 Bottom with a steep slope # 2 1000 × 800 × 300 Bottom with a gentle slope # 3 1200 × 1000 × 200 Bottom with a tunnel shape Test condition Total mass flow rate Supply LPG temp. Tested-Device Setting height About 200kg/h 30~36℃ 35 cm (Nozzle to Bottom of DUT) 1/5

Mock-up with steep slope Test result(1) Mock-up with steep slope ☞ The temperature reached to 800℃ within 30 seconds, maintained 800 ~ 1100 ℃ for 2 minutes. 2/5

Mock-up with easy slope Test result(2) Mock-up with easy slope ☞ All temperatures reached to 800℃ within 30 seconds, maintained 800 ~ 1100 ℃ for 2 minutes. 3/5

Test result(3) Tunnel shape mock-up In case of Tested-Device with a tunnel shape, there is no sufficient air flow result in low temperature. This local part should be excluded when measuring the temperature entirely. So, all temperature sensors should be installed at a height of 50 mm ± 10 mm below the lowest point of the Tested-Device's external surface. 4/5

Conclusion KATRI Proposal 6.2.6.3.4 All temperature sensors shall be installed at a height of 50 mm ± 10 mm below the lowest point of the Tested-Device's external surface when oriented as described in 6.2.6.3.4.1. At least one temperature sensor shall be located at the center of Tested-Device, and at least 4 temperature sensors shall be located within 100 mm from the edge of the Tested-Device towards its center with nearly equal distance between the sensors. 5/5
