Two Main Approaches Migration Between Two Multi-Node Clusters 2/28/2019 Two Main Approaches Migration Between Two Multi-Node Clusters Create a separate failover cluster running Windows Server 2012 Run the Cluster Migration Wizard to migrate all the VMs from the old to the new In-Place Migration Evict one/two of the nodes from the old Cluster. Rebuild them from scratch along with the new machine with Server 2012. Add Hyper-V and Cluster roles and create a new Cluster to the new ones Destroy the old Cluster Rebuild the old nodes with Server 2012 and join them to the new Cluster © 2012 Microsoft Corporation.
