SCRAPHEAP CHALLENGE Like our page and join the event on Facebook! The IMechE Coventry Automobile Division is holding the annual Scrapheap Challenge at Coventry University on 17th October.   This year's challenge will be about designing a rear wing for an Aston Martin Le Mans GT car out of household scrap. We will bring all the materials required to design, build and test and you will test your designs on an actual wind tunnel model of an Aston Martin in the Coventry University Wind Tunnel. All we need you to bring is creativity! The event will be held at the New Engineering & Computing Building at Coventry University and we request participants to be there at 6pm. Refreshments will be provided. The event is open to University and Sixth Form students in teams of 4. Registration is necessary, and the names of participants should be sent by email to CoventryADSec@imechenetwork.org We have a limited amount of spaces so we urge teams to register early!
