Complete final piece idea to a good quality Make final comments, in order to decide on next idea PHOTOS NEEDED General testing and any detail drawings Idea comments: Why, how etc... Final comments: What now? Setting up your ideas in this way gives you space to try out things and show the inspiration for it in a clear way which gains more marks.

Style Techniques Idea/concept Colours Use of lines/ texture Use of light and dark Contrasting effects? Final Piece idea Describe and roughly sketch your idea for the final piece (thumbnail sketch) Materials you plan to use and why (how do they add to the effect you are trying to create?) 6,5 and 4 for final pieces 6 5 4 Quality: Your work has an interesting composition that is well balanced and well proportioned focal points. Your background and foreground are interrelated and present a seamless scene. You have used materials in a more complex manner which is demanding of your skill set. You have worked carefully with complex tonal ranges and colour mixing. The piece has refined details, including different marks for the textures and careful attention to the edges of the objects. 5 Your work has an interesting composition in which the focal points are clear and of a prominent size. Your background is suitable and considered. You have used materials which are appropriate to the effect you planned. You have worked carefully and have used colour theory and a range of tones. The piece is reasonably detailed with some good mark making for textures. 4 Your work shows a clear focal point which is well sized to draw attention. Your background has been planned and generally suits the focal points. You have used the materials that you planned and have handled then with reasonable success. On the whole, your work is carefully made and you have used colour mixing and shading. A good proportion on your work has careful detail. 6,5 and 4 for final pieces
