Complete “STUDY GUIDE” 15 mins. INDEPENDETNLY 15 mins. with partner DO NOW: Pass in H.W Pick up a “STUDY GUIDE”. Complete “STUDY GUIDE” 15 mins. INDEPENDETNLY 15 mins. with partner 10 mins. with class Jan. 21, 2016

Today’s Objective(s): Jan. 21, 2016 I will be able to apply and extend previous understandings of numbers to the system of rational numbers in order to demonstrate: -that positive and negative numbers are used together to describe quantities having opposite directions or values - a rational number as a point on the number line.  - ordering and absolute value of rational numbers. -Solve real-world and mathematical problems by graphing points in all four quadrants of the coordinate plane. Include use of coordinates and absolute value to find distances between points with the same first coordinate or the same second coordinate. I know I got it when I can accurately complete the first three problems on my STUDY GUIDE independently or with a partner. 6.NS.C.5-8
