Connect Type Learning Activities Jeri White March 25,2019

Introduction “ Connect activities integrate what we are learning with what we know.”(Horton. p 163). Through a successful week of learning the body parts in Spanish, now the pre-k learner can recap, rehearse, present and summarize to be able to inform others of what they have learned.

What do I know? Identifying the body parts in Spanish. Able to inform others. To be able to receive activities in learning the parts of the body in Spanish. Review or summarize the learning.

What do I want to Know? The pre-k learner can identify the parts of the body in Spanish. Through reciting. Drilling. Matching and pointing.

What are we trying to measure, determine, and define? The pre-k learner will apply learning that has been matched to pictures of the body parts, identify each body part, and recognizing the names of the parts of the body in Spanish. In order for this to be applied, the do type activity and the absorb-type activity must be utilized in creating this activity.

How will we report the information? The activities which are based on learning the Parts of the body in Spanish will determine what the pre-k learners. With the aid of parents and teachers, in a e-learning program will assess in how the pre-k learner is developing. For those who are not superior in the skills, conferences with parents can be held through , and webcam to develop a solid foundation with the teacher, learner and parent. This will aid in the student entering the kindergarten.

Are all interested groups involved? Yes they are. The director, teacher are involved in implementing the connect-activity. It can be used as part of a curriculum for further studies and learning. Parents are also involved in the instruction. This helps the teacher to understand the learner and to get involved on their learning process.
