Every 5 years, schools present evidence in order to be “accredited” – a status necessary for ensuring that colleges and universities accept the credits that students have earned while at DHS. Your grades are now permanent. No late bus for tutoring. We do have after school tutoring and with teachers by appointment. 7 period schedule. A Day/ B Day, 7th every day. May be with upper classmen in elective courses. Lunch with all grades; older students often leave campus.

Opportunities Study Buddy Tutoring Program. Currently Tues/Thurs from 2:15-3:15 in the Media Center. Continue to Foster Independence As students move to the high school, it is important to foster self-advocacy in regards to his/her grade and graduation. We are the best place to practice, as we are all in the kid business!

What Comes Next? Finalize registration at the Middle Schools. Each Middle School will visit DHS in May for a guided tour. Schedules will be available August in Infinite Campus along with a letter inviting our Freshmen to an Orientation Day. You will get your schedule and be able to locate your classrooms prior to the first day.
