It gives major insights that enhance decision-making processes. It is self-manageable and fault tolerant. Data mining allows the analysis of the big data to deliver lucid and favorable insights. Hadoop has Java foundation and handles datasets in distributed networks. HDFS ensures data availability in fault occurrences. MapReduce allows parallel processing of multiple patterns (Sreedhar, Kavitha et al.). Genomic data distribution is reduced by cloud computing (Stephens, Lee et al. 2015). Pharmaceutical adverse event, formulary management is possible through big data. Big data in biology results in understanding modelling and living conditions (May 2017). EHR improves the treatment outcomes and decision-making (Zheng Feng 2017). It blends the internal & external variables perfectly to obtain effective & sustainable strategy. It allows enumeration of consumer activities through the collaboration of managerial & firm characteristics, product life cycle and advertising. These variables must be set in conjunction with each other in order to communicate with the consumers through the strategic window. It also helps in estimating potentials of profits. Time Reduction Macy’s has experience major time reduction in price optimization process of 27 hours to 1 hour. Development of new data offerings Google has developed Gmail, Google Apps using Hadoop. Internal business decision support Big data provides solutions to problems like consumer satisfaction, pricing, inventory volume (Davenport and Dyché 2013). Distribution layouts, logistics operations plan execution is done using big data tools (Zhong, Huang et al. 2015).
