About Mr. Xiong This is my 9th year teaching. I absolutely love math and hopes to spread that joy to all my students so they can also be successful in the subject while exploring careers related to math. Some of my favorite hobbies are, fishing, hiking, and anything new that one can enjoy in the outdoors, especially with my friends, family, and loved ones This year we welcome our newest family member-baby Emmett Xiong born Dec 30th.

Daily Materials: (Recommended Materials) Bring the following to class with you every day: Textbook Line paper / Graph Paper/ Pencil/ Color Pens-pencil / highlighters 3-ring binder Whiteboard marker ( dry erase marker)  Scientific Calculator Binder

Weighted Grades 10% formative 55% test 35% final exam Homework due the next day. Solutions are posted PowerSchool Parent - access grades and receive emails from teachers.

Practice Makes Perfect: Homework Expect Daily Homework- Check Website Due the next day Late Work will be accepted until the unit test- reduce half points

When can a student retake a test? Students are allowed to re-take two unit test once. Due to timing constraints, the last test of each semester may not be retaken. Quizzes and final exams cannot be retaken. Student must have completed all homework in order to retake a test .
