Energizer (conduct an activity related to entrepreneurship that will get everyone up, moving, excited)

Who We Are (tie energizer back to the Diamond Challenge/Horn Entrepreneurship) Horn Entrepreneurship Empower innovators Inspire people to create ideas that can change the world (make sure it’s clear that Horn is the entrepreneurship program at UD. Within Horn, we run the Diamond Challenge)

Showcase your passions on a world stage and create a world made by you.

Why the Diamond Challenge? World’s largest entrepreneurship competition For any high school student who seeks to be a part of a life-long community of innovators and world changers FREE World-class experience in ideation, pitching, mentoring and networking $100,000 in prizes for college or to fund your idea (mention you get to meet people like Jason Feifer, Editor-In-Chief of Entrepreneur Magazine as an example)

Growth You can see a large amount of growth, in part due to the exponential demand in the international sites-this topic and opportunity resonates very deeply in countries that have had difficulty transitioning to a capital markets economy. We’ve also added a fair amount of local interest, and even more so with our new signature event, the Youth Entrepreneurship Summit (YES) We will also see a boost in local numbers for next year, first time to get many new people in a room. And interestingly, though we didn’t succeed this year in gaining more momentum in Delaware, we did attract a record number of teams from the greater region: MD, PA, NJ, NY, so a great opportunity to get a variety of students on the UD campus Not included in these numbers: 250 educators Dozens of judges, volunteers, and other partners
