POLLUTION BY: CATERINA DELEON

Air pollution is the contamination of the atmosphere by pollutes from humans and natural sources . The types of air pollutions are gases and particulates . Gas is the carbon monoxide ,sulfur dioxide , nitrogen oxide and ground-level ozone. Particulates are tiny particles of solid that is suspended in air or water . Air pollution can effect health of children and elderly people and people with asthma ,allergies , lung problem, and heat problems . AIR POLLUTION

This is a picture of smog it may look like fog but it’s not because smog is a type of car exhaust that is air pollution .Smog is a mixture of smoke and fog. CONTINUE….

Humans pollute water when they litter or throw trash in the water Humans pollute water when they litter or throw trash in the water .There are type of water pollution like thermal pollution which is heating water ,chemical pollution which is harmful chemical in water , biological pollution which is a live or dead organism waste is added to water ,eutrophication which is an increase on the amount of nutrients in water. WATER POLLUTION

This is a picture of thermal pollution which is any heating of natural water that is a results by human activity. CONTINUE…..

People pollute land by urban sprawl which replaces forests, fields, and grasslands with houses, roads, schools, and shopping areas. And deforestation which is when the removal of trees and other vegetation from an area. And desertification which is when land becomes more desert like and unable to support life. And by erosion which can be cause when land is degraded. Lastly, by nutrients depletion which is when the same soil is used up. LAND POLLUTION

This is a picture of land degradation by livestock.. CONTINUE.....

A LIST OF WAYS WE DO LAND, WATER AND AIR POLLUTOIN AIR-Hair spray, use a gas lawnmower, household cleaners, dry cleaning, paint spray, and burping. WATER-Showering, flushing, a toilet, heating water, chemical in water, and brushing our teeth. LAND-Using a pencil, erasers, paper, digging in the dirt, camping fire, metal, building houses, poor-farming, transport, and land uses. A LIST OF WAYS WE DO LAND, WATER AND AIR POLLUTOIN
