KING MESSIAH CHRIST ANOINTED KINGDOM Messiah is a transliteration of a Hebrew word meaning “anointed one.” It is translated into the Greek, “christos”, the Christ.

Throughout the Old Testament Scriptures God promised a King and a Kingdom of God. Gen. 17:6 – “… kings shall come from you.” Gen. 49:10 – “The scepter shall not depart from Judah …” 2 Sam 7:12-13 ~ "When your days are fulfilled and you rest with your fathers, I will set up your seed after you, who will come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for My name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever.

Throughout the Old Testament Scriptures God promised a King and a Kingdom of God. Isa 2:2 ~ Now it shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it.

Throughout the Old Testament Scriptures God promised a King and a Kingdom of God. Isa 9:6-7 ~ For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and peace there will be no end, upon the throne of David and over His kingdom, to order it and establish it with judgment and justice from that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this. Ps 2:6 ~ "Yet I have set My King On My holy hill of Zion."

Gabriel Luke 1:31-33 ~ And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end. The New Testament points to Jesus as the fulfillment of the promised Messiah and King.

Matt 2:2-4 ~ "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews Matt 2:2-4 ~ "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him." 3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. The New Testament points to Jesus as the fulfillment of the promised Messiah and King. Matt 16:16 ~ Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."

KINGDOM Matt 3:2 ~ "Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!" Mark 1:14-15 ~ Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."

KINGDOM (Nature) John 18:36-37 ~ Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here." 37 Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."

KINGDOM Acts 2:30-36 ~ Lord (rule) & Christ (Messiah) Luke 17:20-21 ~ Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, "The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, 'See here!' or 'See there!' For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you." Rev 17:14 ~ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful. Acts 2:30-36 ~ Lord (rule) & Christ (Messiah)
