The estimation of the number of students reached statewide through their teachers, directly through AITC staff and volunteers with AITC programs, curriculum, or other resources. Total number of students reached in: 2015 – 46 states: 6,598,618 2016 – 44 reports: 6,876,332 2017 – 48 reports: 7,328,745

Estimate the number of volunteers who conducted or assisted with AITC programs.

Total number of elementary and secondary pre- service teachers contacted or trained with AITC. Total number of pre-service teachers reached: 2015 – 46 states (24 reported preservice programs): 8,508 2016 – 44 states (24 reported preservice programs): 9,248 2017 – 48 states (27 reported preservice programs): 8,722 Range/state, 10 – 2,136: pre-service teachers 11 states account for 84% of the total: IL, MN, VA, UT, ME, NC, OK, TN, CA, MS, NE
