5 th Grade Social Studies is #1 in the RESA for 2013 Scoring #2 in RESA for 2013 is 5 th Grade Science & Reading & 4 th Grade ELA, Social Studies, Science and Math!

Third Annual Spelling Bee between ES & MS was Won by the Elementary School 89.1% on the 2012 Common Core Readiness Performance Index – well above state at 83.4%

Grants Awarded - $2,000 from Target and $1,000 from the TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) Student Council mailed Childrens Books and School Supplies to the Oklahoma State School Board Association after the tornado tragedies.

Book Character Night was a Favorite!

Grandparent Week hosted Hundreds!

The SOAR Reading Club was formed! Students Organized to Advance Reading SOAR students went on First-Ever Elementary Over Night Field Trip to the Science & Rocket Center in Huntsville, AL. State Superintendent Dr. John Barge visited!

Ranked #1 in the State on CCRPI for First Anti-Bullying program was Great! Student initiated bullying awareness.

Science Olympiad Gifted program allows students to explore and grow in their gifted areas! Georgia Council for School Studies (GCSS) – Regional had 3 of 4 projects qualify for GCSS State Fair! MS had a State Winner!

MS Hosted a Robotics Tournament. Multiple integrations of New Technology into Language Arts – Weebly, Wikispaces and WebQuest. Students used Microsoft Story Editor to create, edit and narrate movies based upon their chosen library book.

CRCT scores for 2012 were higher than any other school in our RESA. Writing scores in the 90% range for the second year in a row. Students involved in Spelling Bee and Patriots Pen Essay Contest.

2013 CRCT Pass Rate – 7 th grade Social Studies is #1 in the State! 11 out of 15 in the top 25% of the State 8 th grade Social Studies 4 th in State 7 th grade Science 5 th in State 7 th Math & Reading, 6 th Science & Social Studies all in top 25 in the State. 8 th grade ELA 2 nd in State.

2013 CRCT Exceeds Rate – 8 th grade Social Studies 2 nd in State. 7 th grade Reading 9 th in State. 4 out of 15 in the top 10 schools in the State. 8 th grade reading 9 th in State. 10 out of 15 in the top 26% of the State. 6 th grade ELA 10 th in State. Lowest score still in the top 44% of the State.

FBLA has a 1 st place National Winner and 6 more Students that placed at Nationals! Agriculture Department is 1of only 5 schools in the State to become Ag Mechanics Industry Certified. TC is the only school north of I-20 to receive this certification! 4 Students from HOSA place at Nationals.

2012 CCRPI score ranks 4 th in the State for Single A Schools! Special Education Department met State targets on ALL Compliance Indicators. Students Acceptance and Support of kids with Special Needs.

2012 Graduation Rate is 10 th in the State! Scholarship Money for Senior Class was $227, 450. CCRPI score ranked TC as #61 out of 365 High Schools in the State of GA. Senior Projects!

Mrs. Melissa McConnell was inducted into the National FBLA Advisors Wall of Fame! End of Pathway Assessments Pass Rate is Top in Ga! Total of 14 credit recovery classes completed! J.V. Academic Team won 3 matches!

Lady Indians Basketball player named to All Star State Team, & Coach Melton was also Head Coach of the Winning All Star Team! Lady Indians Cross Country Team Wins State Championship! Lady Indian Soccer team made State Playoffs for the second time in school history.

HS Student receives First Ever Fast-pitch Softball Scholarship! HS Football team has a Competitive 3 win season! Lady Indians Basketball Team reached the Final Four for the third time in school history! Girls Golf was 2 nd in State!

MS Wrestling program brought home tournament trophies – 3- 3 rd Place & 1- 2 nd Place! MS Boys Basketball & Baseball teams finish with Winning Seasons! School SPIRIT was High during the Homecoming Parade!

Band performed at the St. Patricks Day Parade in Savannah! Athletic Banquets for both Spring & Fall sports! MS Girls Soccer team had a Winning Season, and one TC 7 th grade player is traveling to Italy to play in the Olympic Development Team!

Our Custodial Team did our Floor Waxing IN HOUSE and did the BEST Job EVER! Our Maintenance Team did our Landscape and Lawn Care Service IN HOUSE and the grounds look outstanding!

Our Nutrition Department implemented the New Meal Pattern. We are one of the few systems in the state to received our Six Cent Certification! Our Bus Driving Team once again Safely Transported our Precious Cargo all over the highways and byways!
