Dates 2oth- 22nd May 2019 The aims of our visit are: To provide activities both physical/mental to stimulate children’s learning. To help pupils further develop their physical skills in a new and challenging environment. To enable pupils to exercise important social skills such as teamwork and leadership. Kit List Sunscreen / Hat Nightwear Brand new and expensive clothes/shoes should be left at home. Children will need: Washing kits (essentials only) 2 towels Swimming costume Sleeping clothes (warm) Changes of underwear 2 thick jumpers 2 pairs of old trousers Track suit T – shirts 2 pairs of trainers (really old) Socks Waterproof jacket Waterproof trousers (only if you have them) Woolly hat and gloves Disco clothes! Several strong carrier bags (This is a must!) Plastic bottles for drinks Watch Reading books (quiet time) No aerosol deodorants as they can trigger the fire alarm (roll ons are great!) No phones, electrical items, expensive cameras or hairdryers. Please label all belongings clearly with name of child and name of school. Sunscreen / Hat Nightwear Black sack for wet items/dirty clothes

Expectations Treatment of Adults – Teachers/instructors Respect – room – each other – Behaviour – Night time / Ultimate sanction – HOME Illness – in extreme cases - need to collect Food Water bottle / torch If your child at any time displays behaviours which are unacceptable then they will miss their activities. If it is very serious behaviour you will be required to come and collect your child from the site within 12 hours. We cannot allow anyone’s safety to be compromised by inappropriate and dangerous behaviours. Please speak to your child about this beforehand.
